I am eternally impressed and thankful that Lani Donaldson and the whole team of UP Academy has come into our lives at such a crucial time! 

My Granddaughter is highly Dyslexic  and struggled so much in the public school system, because they just don’t have the time or the know how to deal with children with these challenges. I watched as this happy, independent little girl, with a zest for life, lost more and more of herself and confidence daily, as she struggled to keep up with the rest of the class.  Even with remedial help, in two other private schools, she was slipping into to the depths of despair when she realized she just couldn’t comprehend, recall or keep up with what her peers could. 

Through nothing short of a miracle, my daughter learned about Lani, who didn’t recoil in fear of taking on a challenge like this but confidently knew my Granddaughter would flourish under her program. Flourish she has!  Her confidence, zest, love of learning and life has been restored!  She is reading and comprehending at grade level and looks forward to going to school again! It’s wonderful to see her always smiling and confident that she can take on a new challenge and be successful with all the skills Lani and the team have taught her!
