Our High School provides students with an educational path tailored to their individual talents, passions and skills.

Stimulating Curriculum

Teachers work in partnership with students and parents to create an environment best suited to the academic success of each student. They offer not just educational support but social and emotional as well, as students prepare for their journey to university or the college of their choice.

Engaged Educators’ blended programs, which combine online curriculum with in-person instruction make it possible for educators to give their students the cutting-edge and adaptive learning technology they need to be well supported in their education.   

Engaging, direct, face-to-face instruction, computerized practice, videos and a mix of supported and independent practice keep students motivated as they learn and help them master skills so they can move on to more complex concepts.

This process allows educators to quickly see how students are performing and if they could benefit from small-group or one-on-one instruction, thus limiting the gaps in learning experienced by some students.

Core Programs Options

All our option programs have been selected to provide students with exposure to and experience with a range of disciplines that help to enhance and supplement the Core Program. The options provide students with opportunities to develop new skills, and to discover or further explore areas of passion and interest. These skills and experiences will benefit them both today and later in life.

Tuition

Full-time Tuition

Our full-time bundled tuition rates for the 2022–2023 school year are for students enrolled full-time for the academic year.

Grades 9 thru 12 – $13,000

BONUS
Grades 9 – 12: If students are maintaining an 80% GPA or better, they have the option of not attending school on Fridays.

Hybrid Tuition

(3 days M-W-F at home online, 2 days T-T in class)

Grades 9 thru 12 – $13,000

Students registered in UP Academy work at home online, independently, three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

On Tuesday and Thursday, students attend classes to participate in project assignments and labs.

This may include one on one reading and math fundamentals tutoring and adaptive learning programs if required. Access to elective study areas
is also available.

Adaptive Learning

Grades K – 12

Programs 100% parent supervised: $500 per course per semester

Programs facilitated by our educational success coaches*: $750 per course
per semester

*Our Academic Coaches Supervision option includes one on one check-ins and any required additional material.

Special Programming

Adaptive Learning Technology
for Math and Reading

UP Academy has entered into a licensing agreement with an adaptive software company to offer computerized adaptive programming for reading and math. These programs will allow students who are falling behind in these subject areas to “Catch UP,” “Keep UP,” and “Get Ahead.”

The adaptive reading program DOES NOT replace our one-on-one reading program; it is an adjunct to it.

One-on-One Programs

Our flagship, scientifically researched, reading program uses norm-referenced testing and guarantees a one-grade increase in reading in 20 hours of instruction. Our average is a 3.4 grade increase in 20 hours of instruction. We provide one-on-one tutoring programs tailored to help you and your child navigate learning. True one on one, no sharing!

We primarily serve students who are struggling and fail to be noticed or those who are simply not grasping the concepts of fundamental learning.

UP Academy meets every child at their skill level and takes them to where they need to go.

We offer all students a free, no obligation reading assessment.
In addition to our reading assessments, we also provide a number of
supplementary one-on-one learning programs.
