UP Academy provides every elementary student with a success plan tailored to their individual needs.
Our Instructional Team
- Provide progress updates throughout the year

Our instructional teams work in collaboration with both students and parents to create an academic success plan for each child.
Using adaptive software and unique testing parameters, students have programming built to strengthen individual weaknesses and bolster strengths.
Our new Social Emotional Learning Platform allows students the support they require to evolve into stronger more confident individuals.
Stimulating Curriculum for Elementary
All core programs at UP Academy use the Alberta Provincial Curriculum outline of skill development as our minimum standard. We will pull from the best curriculums in the world to supplement all our core academic programs.
Students begin to develop their literacy and learning habits during this critical juncture in their educational journey. Young learners must receive the instruction and practice they require to close any learning gaps they may have and master essential skills in learning, especially reading and mathematics.
Our small group, one on one learning and online extra practice solutions combine to give our elementary students engaging tools they can use throughout the school day. We help students build and master foundational learning skills and successful habits necessary to achieve success.
Elementary Core Programs Options
All our option programs have been selected to provide students with exposure to and experience with a range of disciplines that help to enhance and supplement the Core Program.
The options provide students with opportunities to develop new skills, and to discover or further explore areas of passion and interest. These skills and experiences will benefit them both today and later in life.

Full-time Tuition
Our full-time bundled tuition rates for the 2025–2026 school year are for students enrolled full-time for the academic year.
Grades K thru 4 – $12,000
BONUS
Grades 1 – 4: One-on-one reading and math fundamentals tutoring is included, if required, at no additional charge.
Special Programming
Adaptive Learning Technology
for Math and Reading
UP Academy has entered into a licensing agreement with an adaptive software company to offer computerized adaptive programming for reading and math. These programs will allow students who are falling behind in these subject areas to “Catch UP,” “Keep UP,” and “Get Ahead.”
The adaptive reading program DOES NOT replace our one-on-one reading program; it is an adjunct to it.
Grades K – 12
Programs 100% parent supervised: $500 per course per semester
Programs facilitated by our educational success coaches*: $750 per course per semester
*Our Academic Coaches Supervision option includes one on one check-ins and any required additional material.
One on One Programs
Our flagship, scientifically researched, reading program uses norm referenced testing and guarantees a one grade increase in reading in 20 hours of instruction. Our average is a 3.4 grade increase in 20 hours of instruction.
We provide one-on-one tutoring programs tailored to help you and your child navigate learning. True one-on-one, no sharing!
Who Do We Serve
We serve elementary students who feel they are lost or “falling through the cracks” of a one size fits all school system. This could be due to students either not grasping fundamental concepts and developing them to mastery before moving on or students who require more challenge and rigour.
UP Academy meets every child at their skill level and takes them to where they need to go.
We offer all students a free, no-obligation reading assessment.
In addition to our reading assessments, we also provide a number of supplementary one-on-one learning programs.

At UP Academy we believe parents are key to their child’s educational success. We expect parents to take an active role in encouraging their child to challenge their perceived academic challenges. Parents are expected to support their young students in becoming independent learners capable of voicing their own questions, concerns and ideas.
Elementary School Parents will:
- Ensure homework is completed
- Communicate with teachers on a continual basis
- Collaborate with their child’s instructional team to help shape the every evolving success plan.

UP Academy builds Field Trips around both curriculum content and individual interest areas. Students are encouraged to participate in the planning and development of our field trip programs.
